When we go to our jobs, usually on Monday morning, we will work all week expecting to be paid on the weekends. It is like being in a contract with your employer. If you do what I require, I will pay you. Some receive more than others, which depends upon our qualifications. This is the way it work in the natural. At the same time we are super-natural being employed by God or the devil (sometimes both) to receive payment for our work. How does it work?

The bible says that the wages of sin is death. The devil will pay wages for our work, but it is not money we receive, but something called death. Our work for the devil (job description) is to get us to sin. “God is not mocked, whatsoever we sow, we shall also reap.” If we sow to the flesh (sin), we will reap corruption. If we sow to the spirit, we will reap (be paid) life.

God pays wages too!

When we serve Him we are paid in righteousness, which is life. Jesus said, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasure in heaven.”
