Ever wondered what it was like to be a traveling evangelist, living on the road and from church to church? Here is a journal of life on the road with Pastor Johnson with pictures. These pictures were taken during a trip to the mid-west from April 1 through 28, 2001. A lot of them are dark and taken from the cab of a truck at 70mph or inside a church without a flash so don't expect quality!
April 1 - 28, 2001. This is a day by day record of a month on the road with Pastor Owen Johnson. I (Dion Todd) had the privilege of going with him and carrying his books as we ministered in various churches all the way up to Lake Michigan.
During this time I took pictures and some rough notes of the trip. Please excuse the quality of the pictures. Most were taken from the cab of the truck at 70 mph and through a windshield. Others were taken inside of churches without using a flash to keep from disrupting the service. But they should give you a small idea of what we saw out there and what life on the road as a traveling evangelist is like. I made the pictures small so I could upload them from a laptop using hotel dial up internet connections.
